Grown Folks is Tucson's forward thinking conscious blend of Jazz, Funk, and R&B. They have performed several festivals and have fronted many a bill at nearby jazz clubs. The core trio of the band includes TroyCov on drums, Chris Peña on keys, and Joshua 'The Mad Scientist' Sailor on bass. Breaking from their usual script of backing up Gospel choirs and other local singers this concerts set will put the instruments front and center getting back to the roots that started them off.
